[Guide] Create SOL OpenBook Market ID

Low-cost OpenBook Market ID Creation #

On Solana, after a token is created, it usually needs liquidity before it can trade. When creating a Raydium pool, a common prerequisite is creating an OpenBook market ID first. OpenBook provides market infrastructure for Swap liquidity, and different Swaps can share liquidity through OpenBook.

FAQ #

  • Why do I need an OpenBook market ID? Some liquidity pool creation flows, such as Raydium, require a market ID before creating a pool.

  • Can I reuse a market ID? Use the market ID that matches your token pair. Do not randomly reuse a market ID from another token pair.

  • What should I do after creation? Save the market ID and use it when creating the liquidity pool.

  • What if I enter the wrong token or parameters? On-chain creation cannot be undone. Check token addresses and parameters carefully before confirming.
